The Garmin GRID 20 horizontal is the horizontal-front-panel version of the Garmin remote controller. It is designed for helm stations where a reliable physical control is desired to navigate chartplotter menus, switch screens, recall favorite configurations, or access key functions without touching the screen directly.
Remote control for Garmin Marine system
The 360° joystick combined with the rotary knob and the validation button allows precise control even when conditions make touchscreen use impractical. The four favorite buttons can recall a saved configuration, while the direct-access buttons simplify common actions, including engaging/standby of the autopilot on compatible systems.
Horizontal mounting
This version is suited to wide consoles, armrests, or areas where a horizontal layout of the control is more natural. Like the vertical version, it can be connected to an NMEA 2000 network or used in ANT mode with separate power or two AA batteries.
Compatibility to confirm
The GRID 20 must be paired with a compatible Garmin chartplotter. Before purchase, verify the chartplotter model, the planned connection method, and the mounting location, especially if rear access is required to replace batteries.
