Its built-in GPS module enables precise navigation and management of chart data.
MEGA Side Imaging and Down Imaging Fishfinder
The HELIX 7G4N - MEGA SI is equipped with MEGA Side Imaging and Down Imaging fishfinder technologies, operating at frequencies of 455 kHz and MEGA. The maximum output power is 500 Watts RMS (4000 Watts peak-to-peak).
Advanced Navigation and Chartplotting
This unit includes a GPS receiver for precise positioning, with 2D, 3D, or enhanced fix types (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS). It allows waypoint, route, and track management. The AutoChart Live feature enables the creation of custom contour maps in real time. The system is compatible with chart sources such as Navionics+, Navionics Gold, HotMaps, HotMaps Premium, and Platinum+.
Connectivity and Robustness
The HELIX 7G4N offers extended communication options including Ethernet, NMEA 2000, Bluetooth (frequency range 2402 to 2480 MHz, typical output power 10 dBm), and wireless. The required power supply is 10 to 20 VDC. The unit is rated IPX7, ensuring waterproofing and submersion capability up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, making it suitable for demanding marine environments.
