HELIX7 G4-CDSTP Display: Sonar Performance and Navigation

The HELIX7 G4-CDSTP display integrates advanced sonar technologies for detailed underwater mapping. It features 2D CHIRP sonar with a default operating frequency range of 150 kHz to 220 kHz, covering areas from 42° to -10 dB for Full and Wide modes, and 25° for Narrow mode.

For navigation, the HELIX7 G4-CDSTP has GPS reception with 2D, 3D, and Enhanced (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS) fix types. The display includes AutoChart Live features for creating custom charts, including displaying bottom hardness and vegetation layers.

CoastMaster France Chart: Detailed Marine Cartography

The CoastMaster chart included in this pack provides detailed marine cartography for France. It allows customization of chart display with orientation preferences such as North-Up, Head-Up, Course-Up, or COG-Up. The cartography is divided into several information layers:

• Navigation: displays navigation aids, light sectors, anchorage areas, tide and current data, and spot soundings.
• Water: shows wrecks, rocks, obstructions, natural water features, fishing objects, and seabed nature.
• Land: includes ports, coastal objects, roads, points of interest (POI) and their labels, and terrestrial natural features.

Safety functions are integrated, such as Sounding Highlight which displays in red soundings shallower than the defined safety depth, Symbol Highlight which highlights dangerous objects with a red outline, and the Always Show Hazards option to force the display of hazards even if chart object data is hidden.
