Iridium Prepaid Standard Subscription: 200 minutes, 6 months

If you use all 200 minutes before the 6-month validity period expires, your communication service will stop. As this is a prepaid plan, there is no risk of out-of-plan usage or unexpected billing. To continue using your satellite phone, you must purchase a new top-up.

This is an activation or top-up service for an existing Iridium SIM card, provided by Skysat. Once your purchase is validated, you will need to provide us with your Iridium SIM card identifier (ICCID) and, if applicable, your line number. We will verify the Skysat origin of your SIM and its eligibility. The activation of the 200-minute credit will then be performed remotely on your card. You will not receive a physical product. We will contact you after your purchase for activation.

If the 6-month validity period expires, your unused minute credit will be lost. To avoid this, you can purchase a new top-up before the expiration date. Subject to line and plan eligibility and after verification by Skysat, the remaining minute balance may be carried over and potentially added to your new credit, and the validity period may be extended.

The 200 minutes in this package are primarily intended for voice calls. They can also be used for low-speed data connections (such as dial-up at 2.4 kbps), where each minute of connection is deducted as one minute of communication. This is sufficient for light needs such as consulting GRIB weather files or sending e-mails without attachments.

To check your remaining minutes and the expiry date of your credit, you can make a free call directly from your Iridium satellite phone.

Dial 2888 and initiate the call. An automated voice message will inform you of the remaining minutes in your account and the expiry date of your subscription.

Yes, this item is a subscription service (a credit top-up) and does not include the physical SIM card. You must already own an Iridium SIM card provided by Skysat or acquire one from Skysat separately to activate and use this 200-minute plan.

Yes. If you purchase a new Iridium prepaid top-up before the expiration date of your current plan, subject to line and plan eligibility and after verification by Skysat, the new credit may be added to your remaining balance. Furthermore, the validity period of your entire credit (remaining minutes + new minutes) may be extended and will correspond to the validity duration of the new top-up you purchased.

No, the activation of this subscription is strictly reserved for Iridium SIM cards provided by Skysat. We cannot activate plans on SIM cards purchased from other resellers.
