Iridium prepaid standard subscription 600 min 1 year

You are purchasing a prepaid credit for Iridium satellite network communication time. This credit grants you 600 minutes of voice calls, usable within a 12-month period. This is a no-monthly-commitment solution; you pay once for the entire credit.

Once your 600-minute credit is fully consumed, you will no longer be able to make calls. To continue using your satellite phone, you will need to purchase a new prepaid top-up.

This package is valid for 12 months. If you have not used all 600 minutes by the expiration date, the remaining credit will be lost. Unused minutes cannot be carried over.

Activation is done remotely. When ordering, you will need to provide us with your Iridium SIM card identifier (ICCID). After verifying the Skysat origin of your SIM and the line's eligibility, we will apply the 600 minutes of credit directly to your card. There is no physical card to receive with this subscription. The SIM card must be purchased separately if you do not already own one provided by Skysat.

No, this plan is exclusively compatible with Iridium phones and terminals. It works with all Iridium mobile phone models (such as the Iridium 9555, 9575 Extreme) and certain fixed terminals from the same brand.

This plan is primarily designed and optimized for voice communications. While a low-speed data connection is technically possible with the Iridium network, it would quickly consume your minute credit. For regular internet use, specific plans such as Iridium Certus are more suitable.

Yes, one of the main advantages of the Iridium network is its global coverage. Thanks to its constellation of 66 low-orbit satellites, you can use this plan to make calls from any point on Earth, including oceans, deserts, and polar regions.

You can check your credit balance and expiration date for free and directly from your Iridium phone. To do this, simply dial 2888 and press the call button. You will quickly receive a voice message or SMS with the information.

The 600 minutes cover standard voice calls made from your Iridium phone to standard landlines and mobile phones worldwide. Calls to other satellite networks, special numbers, or premium services may be billed at a different rate, thus consuming your minutes more quickly.

No, it is not necessary to purchase a new SIM card if you already have an Iridium SIM card provided by Skysat. This top-up can be applied to an existing, active, and eligible Iridium SIM card, or to a new SIM card provided by Skysat that you are activating for the first time with this plan. If your SIM card was not provided by Skysat, it cannot be activated or topped up by our services.

For activation, you will need to provide us with your Iridium SIM card identifier (ICCID). Credit activation is conditional on verifying the Skysat origin of your SIM card and the line's eligibility. We invite you to contact us before any purchase if you have any doubt about the origin of your SIM.

Calls on Iridium prepaid plans are billed in 20-second increments. This means a 25-second call is billed as a 40-second call, and a 1-minute 10-second call is billed as 1 minute 20 seconds.

No, in accordance with our commercial policy, Skysat can only activate an Iridium subscription on a SIM card provided by Skysat. A SIM card acquired from another reseller cannot be activated via our services. If you have an Iridium SIM card and are unsure of its origin, please contact us before making your purchase to verify its eligibility.
