Designed for the evacuation of wastewater in marine applications and recreational vehicles, the 24 V Jabsco 18590-2094 marine macerator toilet pump ensures efficient transfer after grinding waste. It incorporates technical features for reliable performance and versatile installation on board.
Performance and wastewater management
This macerator pump operates on 24 V DC. It delivers a flow rate of up to 47 l/min at 0 metres discharge head, 40 l/min at 3 metres, and 28 l/min at 6 metres. Its self-priming capability is 1.5 metres in wet conditions and 1.2 metres in dry conditions. Continuous use is limited to 15 minutes, allowing it to empty up to 680 litres in a single operation, and it is compatible with holding tanks up to 680 litres.
Robust design and safety
The 24 V Jabsco marine macerator toilet pump is equipped with a 4-blade stainless steel cutter, capable of reducing waste to a maximum size of 3 mm, thereby minimising clogging risks. It features a patented dry-run protection system to prevent turbine damage. The permanent magnet motor is fully enclosed, with a stainless steel shaft, triple-sealed and spark-proof, compliant with USCG standards (Title 33, Chapter I, Part 183; Subpart I) for gasoline-powered vessels. A stainless steel wear plate and a Jabsco flexible nitrile impeller contribute to the unit's durability.
Installation and technical specifications
The pump connections are a 38 mm (1 1/2″) NPT inlet (slip and threaded male) and a 25 mm (1″) outlet for slip hose. Its dimensions are 290 mm (length) x 120 mm (width) x 95 mm (height) with a weight of approximately 2.20 kg. Thanks to its self-priming capability, it can be mounted at any point in the discharge system, including above the tank. It is ideal for emptying marine holding tanks, live wells, and fish boxes.
