Performance and maintenance

The neoprene of the Jabsco 836-0001-P impeller provides good thermal resistance, supporting operating temperatures from 7°C (45°F) to 82°C (180°F), and resistance to flex cracking. Although not designed to run dry, it can tolerate short periods (approximately 30 to 60 seconds) before damage occurs. To ensure system performance, annual replacement of the impeller is recommended. It is advised to grease the impeller during installation to facilitate assembly and provide initial protection.
