Positioned as a high-performance and accessible option, it stands apart from high-end series like the HDS Live or Elite FS with its simplified, essential-focused approach to fishing. It offers a combination of CHIRP sonar and DownScan Imaging via its HDI transducer, a feature inherited from Lowrance’s more advanced models, enabling detailed views of underwater structures and fish. The 83/200 kHz frequency for traditional sonar is complemented by 455 kHz and 800 kHz frequencies for DownScan/SideScan, ensuring versatility across various fishing conditions.

The HOOK Reveal 5 integrates Genesis Live, allowing users to create custom bathymetric maps in real time, with accuracy up to 20 knots. This custom mapping capability is a major asset for identifying new fishing spots or refining knowledge of existing areas.
