Designed by Lumishore, the LUX Strip Light Driver - DIN Rail is a dedicated solution for managing and controlling Lumishore LUX LED strip and flexible neon lighting. This module includes a voltage stabilizer, providing a regulated and stable 24-volt power supply to the fixtures, which enhances the reliability of the lighting system and protects it from voltage fluctuations on board. Its marine-grade powder-coated aluminum housing and IP68 waterproof rating ensure resistance to demanding marine environments.
Integration and control flexibility
The LUX Strip Light Driver serves as a central component for Lumishore LUX lighting installations. It offers full CRGBW color control and precise white tuning, enabling customization of the onboard lighting ambiance. This driver can operate autonomously, controlled by a simple momentary switch for on/off and dimming functions. Alternatively, it integrates with the Lumishore EOS-LUX Command Center lighting system, providing advanced features and centralized control via a compatible multifunction display (MFD) or smart device. This dual approach accommodates various installation setups, from the simplest to the most complex.
Technical specifications and installation
This driver is powered by 12 V or 24 V input, with an operating range of 10.5 to 31 VDC, but always delivers a stabilized 24 V output. Its current draw is 0.05 A (max) at 12 V and 0.03 A (max) at 24 V, with an average power consumption of 0.6 W for the unit alone. It supports a maximum power output of 68 watts and can handle up to 10 meters of LED strip (comprising two 5-meter sections). Each driver must be individually protected by a 7.5 A fuse for 12 V input or a 4 A fuse for 24 V input. Its compact dimensions of 113 mm (width) x 27 mm (depth) x 77 mm (height) facilitate installation on a DIN rail or flat surface in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location. Electrical installation can be either "plug and play" or hardwired, but must be performed by a qualified professional to ensure compliance and maintain the three-year warranty.
