Detailed description
Detailed description
The MADINTEC wireless remote control (MADRemote Emitter) is an optional control interface designed for the MADBrain Autopilot system. Part of the MADINTEC marine electronics excellence legacy, this remote allows sailors to steer their sailboat with precision and responsiveness, drawing on experience gained in offshore racing such as the Vendée Globe and the Transat Jacques Vabre.
Intuitive control of the MADBrain system
Designed to integrate seamlessly with the MADBrain ecosystem, the wireless remote provides simplified access to autopilot functions. The MADBrain system stands out with its navigation processor centralizing data, its artificial intelligence algorithms for real-time analysis, and its high-resolution data acquisition, particularly for true wind calculation up to 50 Hz and advanced boat attitude analysis via a proprietary inertial measurement unit. The remote extends this intelligence to the sailor’s fingertips.
Reliability and performance in all conditions
As an accessory to the MADBrain Autopilot, this remote benefits from the robustness and reliability of the main system. The MADBrain ensures smooth and precise course-keeping, even in unstable conditions, through active wind and boat dynamics adaptation, reducing actuator load and energy consumption. The MADINTEC wireless remote complements this architecture by offering increased operational flexibility, allowing the helm to be taken or settings adjusted without being tied to the main navigation station.
