Detailed description
Detailed description
The 15" NORMA.AFF touch control panel from MANTAGUA serves as the central human-machine interface (HMI) for the NORMA navigation light alarm and control system. Designed for vessels requiring advanced and certified lighting management, it allows monitoring and control of up to 48 navigation lights, whether filament-based (up to 65W at 230VAC) or LED-based (up to 40W at 24VDC). This 15-inch touchscreen features integrated software offering full customization of the interface, including the vessel silhouette, control buttons, and status indicators.
Advanced management and integrated monitoring
The NORMA system, of which the NORMA.AFF 15" is a key component, provides comprehensive light management. It detects various faults such as filament breakage, short circuits, power supply failure, and fuse faults. For LED lights, hourly counting and lifetime alarms are integrated, optimizing predictive maintenance. Bipolar protection and control of lights ensure enhanced safety, with no possible cross-communication between lights. Compared to traditional control panels, the NORMA.AFF offers superior overview and interactivity, reducing crew workload and improving incident response time.
Integration and compliance
To operate, the NORMA.AFF 15" must be paired with NORMA.CPU modules, which manage control and monitoring of 8 lights each, and NORMA.PWR modules, which handle power management from two separate sources with automatic and manual switching. This modular architecture allows the system to be adapted to the specific needs of the vessel, up to 6 NORMA.CPU cards for 48 lights. The system is approved by Bureau Veritas and compliant with IEC 60092-504 and IMO Resolution MSC.253(83), ensuring reliability and compliance with maritime requirements. Its IP65 front-panel protection rating ensures robustness suited to marine environments.
