The MANTAGUA Penfret recessed LED panel (reference 01898) is a lighting solution specifically designed for the interior spaces of commercial and professional vessels. With a luminous output of 700 lumens in red and an electrical consumption of only 12 W, it provides efficient and discreet lighting, particularly suited to areas requiring night vision preservation or a specific ambiance, such as walkways and saloons. Operating at 225-260 VAC, this model integrates easily into standard marine electrical systems.
Design and technical performance
Made from aluminum and PMMA, the MANTAGUA Penfret has a diameter of 170 mm and a thickness of 20 mm for recessed installation. Its 120° beam angle ensures uniform light distribution. The panel is designed to operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +55°C, ensuring reliability in various marine environments. It is supplied with its power supply (LED driver) and comes with a 2-year warranty.
Positioning within the Mantagua range
The Penfret red 700-lumen model stands out within the MANTAGUA Penfret series due to its specific lighting color and power output. While other variants such as the Penfret 1500-lumen model (refs. 01448 or 01551) offer higher brightness in neutral white (4000 K) for general lighting, this red version is optimized for applications where low-light visibility is critical. Its IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor installations, unlike deck luminaires which require higher IP ratings.
