The MASTERVOLT ChargeMaster 24/12-3 is a fully automatic battery charger designed for reliability and performance in marine and mobile environments. Part of the ChargeMaster range, known for its robustness, this model is a versatile solution for 24V systems requiring efficient and safe charging of multiple battery banks.
Advanced and versatile charging technology
This charger integrates Mastervolt’s innovative 3-stage+ charging algorithm, ensuring fast and complete battery recharge, even for fully discharged batteries. It is compatible with a wide range of battery technologies, including flooded lead-acid, AGM, Spiral, Gel, deep-cycle, and Mastervolt lithium-ion batteries (MLi). The temperature compensation function automatically adjusts charging voltages, preventing overcharging or excessive gassing, which significantly extends battery life. Unlike basic chargers, the ChargeMaster 24/12-3 maintains a stable DC power supply even without a connected battery, allowing direct powering of equipment such as lighting or refrigeration.
Robust design and system integration
The ChargeMaster 24/12-3 features three equal outputs, each capable of delivering the full charging current, distributed according to the needs of connected battery banks. Its robust design includes solid metal connectors with cable glands, protected against corrosion and overheating. The device has automatic input voltage detection (90–265V AC, 50/60 Hz), ensuring optimal operation worldwide. With an IP23 protection rating, it is designed for indoor installation, protected against water splashes and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Weighing 1.8 kg and with compact dimensions (234 x 132 x 60 mm), it is easy to integrate on board. CE, ABYC A-31, SAE J1171/ISO 8846 (ignition protection), RRR, and RMRS certifications attest to its compliance with the strictest maritime and industrial standards. For more complex systems, the ChargeMaster 24/12-3 is fully compatible with the MasterBus network, enabling centralized control and monitoring via a remote control panel or CZone™ integration.
