Detailed description
The SmartRemote OEM display and remote control from Mastervolt is a compact solution designed for local monitoring and control of your energy system equipment. Unlike larger central screens in the range such as the EasyView 5, this model serves as an entry-level display or a dedicated device reader, ideal for checking battery status, adjusting a shore power fuse, or controlling a charger/converter.
Performance and display
Equipped with a 16-bit color screen measuring 2.8 inches with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, the SmartRemote offers optimal readability of key parameters. It is powered directly via the MasterBus network (11-14 V), eliminating the need for a dedicated power supply. Its power consumption is extremely low, limited to 180 mW in standby mode, with a user-adjustable energy-saving mode (2, 5, 10 minutes, or never).
Compatibility and network integration
This monitor natively communicates with Mastervolt devices via MasterBus. It supports a wide range of equipment, including all CombiMaster and ChargeMaster Plus models, MLI Ultra lithium batteries (from model 1250 to 6000), as well as MasterShunt 500. The network requires at least one device capable of providing MasterBus power.
Installation and physical specifications
The SmartRemote is designed for indoor installation with an IP20 protection rating. It operates within a temperature range of -20 to 55 °C (maximum humidity of 95% without condensation). Its compact format of 72 x 72 x 30 mm and weight of 75 g allows for standard surface mounting (52 mm cutout) or seamless integration into Blue Sea Systems Custom 360 panels. As for the OEM version (reference 77010500), the display is supplied bare; MasterBus connection cables must be ordered separately.
