Detailed description
Detailed description
The Nexans TITANEX H07RN-F 3G6 mm² cable is a flexible and robust wiring solution designed for demanding environments. This three-core cable with 6 mm² cross-section per conductor features a bare copper Class 5 core, ensuring high flexibility for both dynamic and static installations. It complies with international standards such as EN 50525-2-21, HD 516, and IEC 60245-4 Type 66, with an Eca fire reaction rating per EN 50575:2014+A1:2016 and flame resistance (IEC 60332-1, C2).
Design and technical performance
With its cross-linked elastomer insulation and sheath (EPR), the TITANEX H07RN-F offers excellent mechanical impact resistance (AG3) as well as good resistance to chemicals, oils, and vibrations. Its maximum conductor temperature is 90 °C in continuous service. The cable can handle a nominal voltage of 450/750V for mobile use and 0.6/1 kV for fixed installations, with a permissible current rating of 63 A in open air. Compared to standard H07RN-F cables, Nexans’ TITANEX range stands out for its extended lifespan and ability to maintain its mechanical and electrical properties under extreme conditions, where less robust cables may show signs of premature fatigue.
Applications and installation
Intended for a wide range of industrial applications, including factories, construction sites, harbors, and connections for mobile equipment such as cranes or machine tools, this 3G6 mm² cable is also suitable for event environments where frequent reuse and exposure without protection are common. It can be installed on cable trays, in conduits, or fixed to walls, and supports outdoor installation without UV protection. Immersion is possible with additional mechanical protection. The recommended dynamic bending radius is 6 to 8 times the outer diameter of the cable (minimum 108.0 mm), while for static use it is 3 times the outer diameter if the diameter is 12 mm or less, and 4 times if greater (minimum 72 mm), ensuring flexibility suited to installation constraints.
