The Quick B3 15 L – 500 W / 220 V marine water heater is designed for hot water production aboard vessels. This cylindrical model from the B3 series features a dual heating system, combining an electric heating element and a heat exchanger, for continuous hot water availability.

Construction and Materials

The Quick B3 water heater tank is made of 1.5 mm thick AISI 316 stainless steel, welded under argon atmosphere to ensure high corrosion resistance. The heat exchanger is also made of AISI 316L stainless steel, providing optimized thermal exchange capacity. The outer casing is composite, and thermal insulation is ensured by high-density closed-cell rigid polyurethane foam injected between the tank and the casing to minimize heat loss.

Technical Performance and Safety

This water heater has a 15-liter capacity and an electric power output of 500 W, operating at 220 V AC (± 10%). The electric heating element is made of Incoloy, known for its durability. The system is equipped with an adjustable safety dual-thermostat and a safety and non-return valve, allowing water purging and protecting against overpressure. The maximum working pressure is 600 kPa (6 bar), and the tank is tested to 800 kPa. The thermostat is adjustable between 40°C and 80°C, with a factory preset at 60°C.

Installation and Dimensions

With a diameter of 300 mm and a length of 405 mm, the B3 15 L water heater weighs 7 kg dry (with exchanger). It is designed for installation on a flat surface and comes with adjustable stainless steel AISI 316 mounting brackets, offering flexibility for wall or deck mounting.
