Detailed description
Designed for hot water production on board, the Quick BK2 160 L water heater is a cylindrical heating solution with a 160-liter capacity. It is equipped with a 2000 W electric heating element operating at 220 V, ensuring efficient heating for marine needs.
Construction and materials
The tank of the Quick BK2 water heater is made of AISI 316L stainless steel, welded under argon atmosphere for high corrosion resistance. The integrated heat exchanger, specific to the BK2 series, is also made of AISI 316L stainless steel and provides an extended exchange surface. The electric heating element is made of Incoloy®. Insulation is provided by rigid closed-cell polyurethane foam, injected between the tank and the external casing, itself made of gray vinyl, for optimal heat retention.
Performance and safety
The Quick BK2 160 L water heater maintains a maximum working pressure of 1000 kPa (10 bar). It includes an electric thermostat for temperature control and an adjustable safety dual-thermostat for the electric element. A relief/non-return valve is also included, allowing the water heater to be drained when not in use.
Installation and dimensions
This cylindrical model has a diameter of 551 mm and a length of 1194 mm, with an empty weight of 44 kg. It is designed for installation on a flat surface and can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Adjustable mounting feet are provided, while QX183 mounting brackets are required for horizontal installation. Water connections have a diameter of 3/4 inch, and the heat exchanger uses 1-inch connections.
