Quick BX 25 L Marine Water Heater – 1,200 W / 220 V

The Quick BX 25 L marine water heater (reference QB251) is a hot water production solution designed for nautical environments. This cylindrical model from the BX series features a 25-liter tank. It is equipped with a 1,200 W electric heating element operating at 220 V (or 230 V AC ± 10 %), allowing for rapid water heating.

Design and materials

The construction of the Quick BX water heater ensures resistance to marine conditions. Its inner tank is made of 1.5 mm thick AISI 316L stainless steel, welded with argon gas for corrosion protection. The outer casing is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Thermal insulation is provided by high-density polyurethane foam, contributing to heat retention.

Technical features

The Quick BX water heater features a stainless steel AISI 316L heat exchanger with a spiral tube over 3 meters long, increasing heat exchange capacity via the engine cooling system. The electric heating element is made of Incoloy and includes an adjustable safety dual-thermostat. The maximum working pressure is 600 kPa (6 bar), with a tank test pressure of 800 kPa (8 bar). Its dimensions are 300 mm in diameter, 605 mm in length, and 316 mm in height, weighing 12.3 kg. It comes with adjustable metal brackets for vertical or horizontal installation on a flat surface. An anode is included for protection against electrolysis, and a discharge/non-return valve facilitates draining.
