Detailed description
The Quick BXS 25 L – 500 W / 220 V water heater is designed for hot water production aboard vessels and in standalone installations. Its cubic shape and dimensions of 480 mm long, 330 mm wide, and 330 mm high make it easy to integrate into confined spaces. It features a 25-litre tank.
Construction and Materials
This BXS model is built with an inner tank made of 1.5 mm thick AISI 316L stainless steel, welded under argon atmosphere for high corrosion resistance. The outer casing is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Thermal insulation is provided by high-density injected polyurethane foam, contributing to heat retention. The water heater weighs 13.5 kg.
Performance and Safety
With a power output of 500 W and operating on 220 V AC (± 10%), the Quick BXS water heater is equipped with an Incoloy electric heating element. It includes a stainless steel AISI 316L heat exchanger with a high surface area for efficient heat transfer. An adjustable electric safety thermostat ensures precise temperature control. The maximum working pressure is 600 kPa (6 bar), tested at 800 kPa. Connections are 1/2 inch in diameter. It includes an anode for additional protection against electrolysis and a pressure/non-return valve for draining.
