Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for coastal navigation and fishing, the Raymarine Element 12 HV (E70646-05-NEU) is a 12-inch GPS display combining CHIRP fishfinder and HyperVision capabilities. This integrated chartplotter offers a compact solution for users seeking detailed underwater detection features and accurate mapping on a large screen.
Advanced Sonar Technologies
The Element 12 HV integrates Raymarine’s HyperVision sonar technology, enabling underwater structure visualization at 1.2 MHz resolution. This technology, combined with CHIRP fishfinding, DownVision, and SideVision, delivers clear images of fish and structures down to 60 meters depth for HyperVision, and deeper detection capabilities with traditional CHIRP. The HV-100+ transom-mount transducer is included, providing a direct and optimized installation for these features. By comparison, Raymarine’s Axiom series offers more transducer options and advanced network integration, while the Element focuses on integrated fishfinder-chartplotter performance, similar to Garmin’s ECHOMAP UHD or Lowrance’s Elite FS series, but with the specific 1.2 MHz HyperVision capability.
Navigation and Connectivity
Equipped with an integrated GPS, the Element 12 HV ensures precise position tracking and reliable route planning. The 12-inch display provides visibility suited to both open and enclosed helm stations. Wi-Fi connectivity enables software updates and integration with mobile applications. Lighthouse North Europe mapping is preloaded, providing detailed data for this region. The LightHouse Sport user interface is designed for intuitive operation and quick access to key functions, distinguishing the Element by its simplicity compared to more complex multifunction systems.
