Detailed description
Designed for coastal navigation and fishing, the Raymarine Element 7 HV GPS display offers a complete solution with CHIRP fishfinder and HyperVision capabilities. This 7-inch compact unit includes Wi-Fi for simplified connectivity. It belongs to the Element series, positioned between the simpler Dragonfly fishfinders and the more advanced Axiom multifunction displays in terms of networking and features. The Element 7 HV focuses on detailed sonar imaging.
HyperVision fishfinder technology
The Element 7 HV integrates FLIR’s HyperVision technology, delivering higher resolution for DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D views. This capability enables precise detection of underwater structures and fish schools, with optimized imaging range up to 60 meters. For greater depths, the traditional CHIRP fishfinder takes over, ensuring reliable coverage down to 270 meters. The HV-100+ transom-mount transducer is specifically designed to fully exploit these technologies.
Navigation and connectivity
While supplied without mapping, the Element 7 HV is a GPS chartplotter compatible with various mapping options available separately. Integrated Wi-Fi simplifies software updates and connections to compatible mobile apps. The unit is standalone but can integrate with existing Raymarine systems via NMEA 2000 to share sensor data, making it versatile for new installations or upgrades. Note that brands such as Raymarine, FLIR, LightHouse, DownVision, SideVision, RealVision, HyperVision, Dragonfly, Element, Quantum, and Axiom are registered or claimed trademarks of Raymarine or FLIR Systems, Inc.
