Detailed description
Detailed description
The Raymarine i50 Tridata digital display is the ideal solution for centralizing essential navigation data on a single instrument. Designed to directly replace the previous ST60 generation, this display combines depth, speed, and water temperature information. Unlike color multifunction displays such as the i70s, the i50 range uses a high-contrast segmented LCD screen with red backlighting. This technical choice ensures maximum readability in bright sunlight or at night, while maintaining extremely low power consumption (less than 1 W).
Performance and navigation data
The i50 Tridata offers simultaneous reading of speed (current, maximum, and average in knots, mph, or km/h) and depth information, with configurable shallow water alarms. It also integrates log functions, trip distance, and displays water temperature in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. For racers, a start race timer is included. Its push-button interface allows for intuitive page navigation, an essential feature in rough sea conditions where touchscreens reach their limits.
Network integration and marine reliability
IPX6 certified for optimal water resistance against spray, this compact display (110 x 115 mm) integrates with modern systems thanks to its SeaTalk NG connectivity (NMEA2000 compatible). It retains native backward compatibility with older SeaTalk 1 networks, facilitating the upgrade of an existing dashboard without having to rewire the entire vessel. Powered by 12 V DC (10-16 V range), it is easily flush-mounted to align perfectly with other instruments from the i50 and i60 ranges.
