Raymarine i50 Depth Display: Marine Depth Precision
The Raymarine i50 Depth display is a navigation instrument dedicated to reading depth. Specifically designed for demanding sailors, it complements the i50 Speed and i50 Tridata display range, as well as the i60 Wind series. Integration into an existing network is facilitated by its dual compatibility with SeaTalk NG (NMEA2000) communication protocols and the older SeaTalk 1 standard. With compact dimensions of 110 x 115 x 44 mm, it fits perfectly into the console or dashboard while offering excellent readability thanks to wide viewing angles of +70°/-70°.
Technical Performance and Navigation Safety
This display stands out for its very low power consumption, an essential advantage for preserving the onboard battery bank: it consumes less than 1 W in standard use (screen only) and a maximum of 2.4 W when a sensor is connected. It operates on a voltage range of 10 to 16 V DC. The i50 Depth display precisely manages shallow water and minimum depth alarms to ensure safe navigation in areas with significant tidal ranges. Designed to withstand harsh marine environments and spray, it benefits from IPX6 waterproofing and tolerates extreme operating temperatures ranging from -20°C to +55°C.
