Detailed description
Detailed description
The Raymarine SeaTalk NG T-connector, part number A06028, is a fundamental component for creating and extending any Raymarine marine navigation network. It serves as the main junction point for integrating an additional device, such as a multifunction display or a sensor, into your system’s backbone (backbone).
Designed specifically for the SeaTalk NG ecosystem
This connector differs from standard NMEA 2000 Micro-C connectors used by brands like Garmin or B&G with its specific color-coding system and locking mechanism. The two blue ports are dedicated to connecting the backbone, ensuring network continuity, while the white port is reserved for branching off (spur) a cable to a device. This intuitive design eliminates wiring errors during installation.
Reliability and robustness in marine environments
The bayonet locking system provides a robust mechanical connection and perfect sealing, protecting contacts from corrosion and vibrations. Weighing only 0.1 kg, the A06028 T-connector integrates discreetly and securely on your vessel. For hybrid installations, it can be used with adapters to ensure compatibility with third-party NMEA 2000 equipment while maintaining the integrity and reliability of the SeaTalk NG architecture.
