Detailed description

The Rebelcell LC12V04XT60 charger is intended for compatible Rebelcell 12 V AV Li-ion batteries. It delivers 12.6 V ± 0.1 V at up to 4 A, with automatic pre-charge, constant-current, constant-voltage and end-of-charge stages. The charger page lists the 12V07 AV, 12V18 AV and 12V30 AV; the current 12V08 AV battery page also specifies this XT60 charger. It is not suitable for LiFePO4 EDGE or Outdoorbox EDGE batteries, which require a different charging profile.

The charger has an XT60 connector and includes a separate XT60-to-Faston cable for the applicable battery terminals. Rebelcell specifies short-circuit, reverse-polarity and overvoltage protection, automatic charge termination and an LED charging indicator.

Which Rebelcell batteries can this charger be used with?

It is intended for Rebelcell 12 V AV Li-ion batteries specified for 12.6 V / 4 A charging. The charger page lists the 12V07 AV, 12V18 AV and 12V30 AV; the current 12V08 AV battery page also confirms this XT60 charger. It is not suitable for LiFePO4 EDGE or Outdoorbox EDGE batteries. How long does charging take?

Rebelcell gives approximately 2–3 hours for the 12V07 AV and 12V08 AV, 5–6 hours for the 12V18 AV, and 8–9 hours for the 12V30 AV with this 4 A charger. These are indicative times; actual time depends in part on the starting state of charge and conditions.

What protection features does Rebelcell specify?

Rebelcell specifies short-circuit, reverse-polarity and overvoltage protection, plus automatic charge termination. These features do not replace correct polarity, the appropriate charging profile or the battery’s instructions.

How can I tell when charging is complete?

The LED indicates charging status. Charging is automatic and stops when the battery is full. Check the battery’s own indicators before putting it back into service.
