Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for automatic bilge pump management, the RULE A Matic 35A level switch (part number RL035) is an essential safety device for navigation. This unit is suitable for 12V and 24V marine electrical systems, capable of switching a maximum current of 14A at 12V and 7A at 24V. It features a mercury-free float switch, ensuring environmental compliance while providing reliable water level detection.
Integration and compliance
The RULE 35A switch is supplied with 16 AWG (1.29 mm) wiring of 712 mm length, facilitating integration into various bilge configurations. It is designed to operate specifically with fresh water and salt water. Installation must comply with ABYC standards, and the float switch must be positioned at or above the pump base for positive shut-off. This model meets EN 61000-6-1:2001, EN 61000-6-3:2007 and ISO 10133:2000 standards, attesting to its reliability and electromagnetic compatibility in the marine environment.
Positioning in the RULE range
The RULE 35A switch is positioned as a standard model for medium-capacity bilge pumps. Within the RULE range, it is complemented by higher-capacity models such as the 37A and 40A, which can handle up to 20A at 12V and 10A at 24V. The 37A model offers a 5-year warranty, compared to 2 years for the 35A and 40A. The 40A model features an integrated protective plate. The choice of model will therefore depend on the maximum amperage of the pump to be controlled and specific requirements regarding protection and warranty.
