Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for demanding marine and professional applications, the Victron Energy Phoenix Compact 12V 2000VA inverter (reference CIN122200000) provides pure sine wave power and high start-up capacity. This model is part of the Phoenix Compact range, known for its robustness and efficiency.
SinusMax Technology and Peak Power
The integrated Victron Energy Phoenix Compact 12V 2000VA SinusMax technology delivers a peak power of 4000W. This performance enables the start-up of high inrush current devices such as refrigeration compressors or electric motors, a capability that conventional high-frequency technologies generally do not achieve with the same efficiency. The inverter provides a continuous output power of 2000VA (1600W) at 25°C, with a maximum efficiency of 92%.
VE.Bus Connectivity and Scalability
Unlike the Victron Energy Inverter Smart range, which does not support parallel operation, this Phoenix Compact model features a VE.Bus port. This allows it to operate in parallel with up to six identical units for increased output power, or to be configured in three-phase mode, offering significant flexibility for scalable systems. The VE.Bus port also facilitates customization of parameters such as output voltage and frequency, or over/under-voltage thresholds, via the MK3-USB interface and VictronConnect or VEConfigure software. A programmable relay is included, configurable for various alarms or the start-up of a generator set. For remote monitoring and control, it can be connected to a GX device, such as a Cerbo GX. It is important to note that, unlike the MultiPlus or Quattro models, the Phoenix Compact is a dedicated inverter and does not include an integrated battery charger or automatic transfer switch.
Design and Protection
The inverter’s housing is made of blue aluminum (RAL 5012) with IP21 protection. Its dimensions are 520 mm (H) x 255 mm (W) x 125 mm (D), and it weighs 12 kg. The hybrid HF design contributes to compact dimensions and reduced weight while ensuring compatibility with a wide range of powered devices.
