Designed as a fundamental component of the Victron Energy Lynx distribution system, the Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M10) integrates a positive and negative busbar, an accurate battery monitor, and a fuse holder for the system’s main fuse. This M10 version includes an additional busbar piece that can replace the internal fuse, allowing the main fuse to be positioned externally—a feature particularly useful for large-scale systems requiring higher-rated fuses. It ensures reliable communication with GX devices via VE.Can and features a power-on LED indicator. The Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M10) ships with two VE.Can RJ45 terminators for immediate network integration.
Positioning and compatibility in the Lynx system
The M10 model is compatible with CNN, ANL, or Mega fuses, offering greater versatility compared to the M8 model, which is limited to CNN fuses. It serves as the central monitoring module within the Lynx range, complementing other components such as the Lynx Power In (single busbar), the Lynx Distributor (busbar with individual fuses and monitoring), and the Lynx Smart BMS (complete BMS with contactor and monitoring). Victron Energy’s Lynx system is a modular solution for DC distribution, fusing, battery monitoring, and lithium battery management. The Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M10) ships with a temperature sensor for accurate battery measurement.
