Pass the rubber boot through the hole until its flange rests on the deck. Place the deck plate cover on the deck and secure it with the four screws provided in the pump body. Attach the 25 mm (1-inch) smooth-bore reinforced hose with stainless steel worm-drive clamps. Tighten the clamps to prevent air leaks. If using a hull discharge, ensure the discharge point is above the waterline.
