Performance and technical specifications
The Whale GP4634B pump delivers a flow rate of up to 8 litres per minute. Its design allows a maximum suction lift of 1.5 metres and a maximum discharge head of 3 metres. The pump body is made of nylon, fittings from acetal, seals from neoprene, and fasteners from stainless steel and phosphor bronze, ensuring resistance suited to the marine environment. Its dimensions are 14 cm long, 10 cm wide, and 7 cm high, with a weight of approximately 0.3 kg. It is covered by a 5-year warranty.
Design and use
This foot pump is designed for deck installation, with an inclined upper section for comfortable use, even barefoot. Its compact size makes it suitable for confined spaces. It is versatile, ideal for simple freshwater systems and can also serve as a priming pump for Whale inline turbine electric pumps. The GP4634B operates without electricity or batteries, contributing to an eco-friendly approach. It is important to note that it is not designed for use in pressurized systems. Whale manual pumps have been manufactured in the United Kingdom since the 1960s.
