Bridge & Propulsion: Master your Maneuvers and Anchoring
Navigation doesn't end once you're at sea. The most critical moments often occur in port or when taking up anchor. Skysat's Bridge & Propulsion collection includes the necessary power and signaling equipment to maneuver your vessel with precision, safety, and ease, regardless of its size.
Bow and Stern Thrusters: Perfect Hovering
Make tricky harbor maneuvers child's play, even in crosswinds.
-
Tunnel thrusters : The classic and robust solution for the bow.
-
Retractable thrusters : For high-performance sailboats concerned about their hydrodynamics.
-
External thrusters (Exturn) : For boats where internal installation is impossible.
-
Accessories: Control joysticks, fiber tunnels and spare propellers.
Electric Windlasses and Anchoring Management
Raising the anchor should no longer be a struggle. Make your anchor line more reliable with our equipment adapted to the weight of your boat:
-
Vertical windlasses (capstan) for reduced space required on deck.
-
Horizontal windlasses for spacious anchor lockers.
-
Windlass controls : Wireless remote controls, chain counters and waterproof deck switches.
-
Slubs and dolls adapted to your chains.
Audible Signals and Fog Horns
Seeing is important, being heard is mandatory. Respect the COLREGs with our audible warning devices:
-
Electric or compressor foghorns for maximum range.
-
Approved warning devices for recreational boating and the merchant marine.
-
Automatic signaling systems for navigation in reduced visibility.
Bridge Controls and Accessories
Optimize the ergonomics of your cockpit.
-
Engine and thruster control panels.
-
Marine pantograph wipers and wiper motors (if you offer them, otherwise exclude).
💡 Skysat Technical Advice
Installing a windlass or bow thruster requires considerable electrical power (high amperage). Never neglect the cable cross -section and always install a battery disconnect switch and a large-gauge ANL fuse as close as possible to the battery to prevent any risk of fire in case the engine stalls.
