By purchasing from SKYSAT, you benefit from several levels of protection: legal guarantees (mandatory and inalienable), the SKYSAT commercial warranty and the manufacturer warranties .


Your legal guarantees (for individuals)

As a consumer, you are automatically entitled, and independently of any commercial guarantee, to the following legal guarantees:

LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY

ACTION DEADLINE
• 2 years from the date of delivery of the property
• The consumer only needs to prove the existence of the defect, not the date it appeared.
• For continuous digital content/services: warranty applicable for the entire duration of the supply (> 2 years)


OBLIGATIONS OF THE PROFESSIONAL
• Provide all necessary updates to maintain the asset in compliance


CONSUMER RIGHTS - REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
Processing time: 30 days following the request
Conditions: No fees and no major inconveniences

Warranty extension after repair: +6 months on top of the initial warranty

In the event of a replacement mandated by the seller: the warranty is renewed for 2 years from the date of replacement.


OTHER CONSUMER RECOURSE
Price reduction (while keeping the item) OR Contract termination (with full refund) possible if:

1. The professional refuses the repair or replacement
2. Repair/replacement takes place after 30 days
3. This causes a major inconvenience (recovery, removal, and installation costs)
4. Non-compliance persists despite attempts

Special case – Serious defect: Immediate right to price reduction or cancellation, without prior request for repair/replacement


CASES WHERE NO APPLICATION IS REQUIRED
• Compliance impossible


WARRANTY SUSPENSION
Any period of immobilization of the goods suspends the warranty until they are delivered in good condition.


PENALTIES FOR OBSTRUCTION
Seller acting in bad faith to obstruct: civil fine of up to €300,000 (or 10% of average annual turnover)


LEGAL REFERENCES
• Guarantee of conformity: Articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the Consumer Code
• Hidden defects: Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code
• Sanctions: Article L. 241-5 of the Consumer Code

SKYSAT Commercial Warranty

In addition to the legal guarantees, SKYSAT offers a 12-month commercial warranty from the date of delivery on all new products sold.

What the SKYSAT warranty covers

Duration 12 months from the date of delivery
Territorial extent Metropolitan France (outside metropolitan France: labor costs to be borne by the customer, spare parts covered)
Content Repair or replacement of products or components recognized as defective by SKYSAT
Implementation Contact sav@skysat.fr Please include your order number, a description of the defect, and photos if possible. You will then be assigned an RMA number.

What the SKYSAT warranty does NOT cover

  • Apparent defects not reported within 72 hours of receipt
  • Modifications or repairs carried out by a third party without prior agreement from SKYSAT
  • Replacement of parts with parts not supplied by SKYSAT
  • Use not in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
  • Lack of upkeep or maintenance
  • Damage caused by a non-compliant environment (excessive humidity, salinity, temperature, abnormal vibrations)
  • Damage caused by power surges, lightning, or faulty power supply
  • Normal wear and tear

What the commercial warranty does not replace

The SKYSAT commercial warranty does not replace Never to legal guarantees. If you are a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantees of conformity (2 years) and against hidden defects (2 years from discovery). independently and in addition of the commercial warranty.


Manufacturer's warranties

The products we distribute also benefit from the manufacturer's warranty , the conditions of which (duration, scope, exclusions) are specific to each brand.

SKYSAT assists you in implementing the manufacturer's warranty: we provide the interface with the manufacturer for the diagnosis, return and replacement of the products concerned.

Manufacturer warranty periods vary depending on the brand and product line. Here are the durations indicative The most common ones. The exact duration applicable to your product is shown in the manufacturer's documentation supplied with the product or is available upon request.

Spare parts

In accordance with Article L111-4 of the Consumer Code, the availability period for spare parts necessary for the use of our products is provided upon request to our customer service department: sav@skysat.fr .


How do I claim under a warranty?

Step 1 — Contact us

Send an email to sav@skysat.fr or call the +33 2 97 52 14 52 specifying:

  • your order number;
  • the product concerned (reference, serial number if available);
  • a description of the problem encountered;
  • Photographs of the defect, if possible.

Step 2 — Diagnosis

Our technical team will analyze your request and tell you what steps to take:

  • Remote troubleshooting : in some cases, a firmware update, a setting or a manipulation can resolve the problem;
  • Product return : if a return is necessary, we will provide you with an RMA number and return instructions.

Step 3 — Product Return

Pack the product carefully (see our packaging instructions ) and ship it to:

Step 4 — Processing

After receiving and examining the product, we will repair or replace it. We will keep you informed of the progress by email.

Professionals

Business customers benefit from the SKYSAT commercial warranty (12 months) and the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). The statutory warranties of conformity specific to consumers do not apply to business customers.
