Skysat delivered the complete electrical and electronic integration for the 4Ever, a motor catamaran designed for long-distance cruising by JFA Yachts.

  • DC power and distribution: complete DC architecture (diagrams, wiring harnesses, main panel).
  • Autopilot and instrumentation: dedicated B&G system for offshore cruising.
  • Communication and safety: VHF, AIS transponder, Actisense NMEA gateway.
  • Electronic steering: DEH-ECO system (computers and rudder transmitters).
  • Multi-zone sound system: high-performance HiFi system (cockpit, salon, cabins).
  • Satellite TV: automatic Trackvision system.
  • Video and media: integration of sources and dashboard displays.

The first hull of the Long Island 78 Power series

4Ever is the first example of the Long Island 78 Power series by JFA Yachts (Concarneau), a 23.72 m semi-custom motor catamaran delivered in February 2021. Naval architecture Marc Lombard Design Group, interior design and exterior styling Franck Darnet Design. Intended use: extended offshore cruising (Mediterranean, Antilles, Pacific for the maiden voyage).

Construction

Hybrid construction: aluminum hulls, deck and superstructure in composite — light displacement kept at 54 tonnes for a 24 m vessel.

Accommodation

Five cabins split between the two hulls: owner’s suite of 20 m² and a guest cabin to port, three guest cabins to starboard. The central nacelle houses the saloon, dining area and galley; forward saloon with sea-bath, extended aft cockpit, flybridge saloon with interior helm station.
