Max40 no. 175, Raison scow built by JPS Production

Class40 FRA 175 was christened Grand Rhino (owner: SAS France Rhino) and raced under the colors of Inter Invest from 2021 to 2023. It is a Max 40 design by David Raison, built by JPS Production in La Trinité-sur-Mer, and launched in 2022.

Design and characteristics

Scow hull by David Raison: wide and voluminous bow, optimized righting moment and early planing. Twin lifting rudders. The Max 40 extends in the Class40 the scow lineage opened by Raison in 2011 with the Mini 6.50.
