Custom ORC catamaran for Régis Guillemot Charter
ORC Tiana is a catamaran from the ORC range (formerly TS) byMarsaudon Composites, built in Lorient to the design of naval architectChristophe Barreau. Custom unit built forRégis Guillemot, winner of the 2002 Route du Rhum Class 3 and founder of Régis Guillemot Charter in Le Marin (Martinique).
Design and construction
The TS/ORC range by Marsaudon Composites is based on the "Light is Right" principle: infusion-built structure, advanced composites, Lorima carbon rig with rotating mast. The TS5/ORC 50 was launched in 2017 (15.24 m, 9.4 tonnes light, SA/D ratio 34); the TS42 saw its first unit in 2014, followed by its second generation in 2020. Units are built in Lorient, in the former submarine base.
Navigation program
The boat has been operated from the Régis Guillemot Charter base in Le Marin for cruises in the Antilles, the Grenadines, and more broadly the Caribbean. The Régis Guillemot fleet mixes Marsaudon Composites units (TS 42 "Imagine", historically the TS 50 "Hallucine" lost in 2020) and production catamarans by Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, and Saona.
