The A35 "5 You" upgraded from H3000 to H5000

Alexis Albin races in IRC aboard5 You, an Archambault A35. Skysat performed a complete electronics refit on the boat, upgrading from a B&G H3000 system to an H5000 central processor.

The boat

The Archambault A35 is a 10.60 m IRC one-design by Joubert-Nivelt, launched in 2008. Modern hull, deep keel, carbon rigging: a demanding boat where performance gaps stem from the quality of onboard data and crew consistency.

H3000 → H5000 electronics refit

The H3000 has long been the benchmark on A35s. Switching to H5000 changes the game: more powerful central processor, native real-time true wind algorithm, finer sensor integration (compass, GPS, anemometer, speed log) and direct access via Triton2 displays or networked tablets. For crews aiming to refine polars and targets, this upgrade unlocks tools found on Grand Prix race boats.
