The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 solar charge controller is designed to optimize energy harvesting from photovoltaic panels to batteries in standalone systems. It features ultra-fast MPPT technology, improving energy harvesting by up to 30% compared to PWM controllers and 10% over slower MPPT controllers. This model is suitable for 12V and 24V battery systems, with a nominal charge current of 10 amperes and a maximum PV open-circuit voltage of 75 volts. Its nominal PV power reaches 145W at 12V and 290W at 24V, with a peak efficiency of 98%.
Integrated Features and Connectivity
Compared to Victron Energy’s BlueSolar range, the SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 stands out with its integrated Bluetooth Smart module. This feature enables wireless configuration, monitoring, and updates via the VictronConnect app, simplifying system management. The VE.Direct port provides wired connectivity for integration with other Victron products, such as GX devices (Color Control GX, Cerbo GX) or the VRM portal for remote monitoring. The device also includes a smart load output with a 15A capacity and a BatteryLife algorithm to extend battery lifespan by adjusting disconnection levels.
