Launched in 2019, the Class 40 Crédit Mutuel #158 marks the Act 1 of the partnership between Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale and Ian Lipinski. Designed by David Raison and built by JPS Production, it is the first Class 40 scow hull — an architectural revolution later adopted by the entire class.
Over 5 seasons, the boat has achieved an exceptional record: winner Transat Jacques Vabre 2019 with Adrien Hardy + Class 40 24-hour record, record improved in 2021 with Ambrogio Beccaria, winner Normandy Channel Race 2022, winner Défi Atlantique 2023 with Antoine Carpentier, 2nd The Transat CIC 2024 in solo, and 13th Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe 2024.
In 2024, #158 made way for the #202 (Act 2) while remaining a reference boat in the Class 40 circuit.
