Hakes Marine is a New Zealand boatyard based in Wellington, founded by Paul Hakes and known for building IMOCA and ocean racing monohulls. Notably, the yard constructed the IMOCA Ecover 3 (2007, Owen Clarke Design + Clay Oliver) for Mike Golding — later renamed Nexans-WeWise and then FDJ United-WeWise under Fabrice Amedeo.
