Wired handset + speaker kit for B&G VHF H100/V100B

The B&G 000-15648-001 kit is a complete communication station comprising the H100 wired handset and an external speaker. It is specifically designed as a control interface for B&G V100 and V100-B modular "black box" VHF systems, providing full access to communication and safety functions.

Control and ergonomics of the H100 handset

The H100 wired handset is the system's primary interface. It features a large display, an alphanumeric keypad, and shortcut keys for precise operation. Its design includes a rubber coating for secure handling at sea. The handset is waterproof to IPX7 standards and includes its own internal speaker for direct listening.

Advanced features and onboard communication

From the handset, the user can access all VHF capabilities, including intercom between stations. It allows control of advanced functions such as AIS target display (with the V100-B), waypoint management, navigation, and a dedicated MOB function. The system offers an audio replay of the last 60 seconds and the Track Buddy tool to track the position of up to five other vessels via their MMSI. The included external speaker ensures clear and powerful audio playback on deck or in the bridge.

Integration and extensibility of the VHF system

This kit is a component of the B&G modular VHF system. The VHF central unit (V100 or V100-B) connects to the onboard network via NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000. The system architecture allows up to 4 H100 wired handsets and 4 H60 wireless handsets to be connected, providing a communication solution adaptable to any sailboat configuration. The associated VHF radio has a transmit power of 1 W or 25 W and ASN Class D certification.
