This VHF is equipped with a USB-C connector, enabling fast charging in approximately 3 hours. Its battery life is extended up to 14 hours in ECO mode, which automatically switches transmit power from 5 W to 2.5 W to preserve battery life. A battery health indicator is integrated for proactive management. The RF output power is 5 W, complemented by a 700 mW audio output for optimal communication clarity. Is this VHF waterproof and can it float?

Yes, this VHF is fully suited for the marine environment. It is IPX7 waterproof certified, meaning it can be submerged to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Additionally, if it falls overboard, it floats and activates its Float’n Flash feature (a flashing light) for easy recovery.

What is the AquaQuake function?
