Class 40 #202, second scow design Raison of the Crédit Mutuel program

40-foot (12.15 m) monohull, David Raison design, built byGepeto Composite in Lorient La Base. Launched onApril 26, 2024. Direct successor to Class 40 #158 (Raison 2019, first scow of the class), sharing the same Crédit Mutuel program.

Design: scow hull with longitudinal bulkheads

Compared to #158, the hull has been tightened along the centerline with increased forward beam to plane earlier and reduce bow diving when reaching.

Structural innovation: three longitudinal bulkheads ("keelsons") running from bow to stern, from hull to deck, replacing part of traditional transverse bulkheads. The boat is divided into three longitudinal sections; improved slamming impact resistance with comparable structural weight.
