Spare parts and maintenance of embedded systems

The long-term viability of an electronic installation at sea depends on the immediate availability of critical maintenance components. We have selected only critical parts—NMEA 2000 connectors, bus terminations, high-capacity fuses, and backup sensors—capable of withstanding mechanical stress and prolonged exposure to salt air. Hardware redundancy for vital components (aerials, rudder angle feedback, power cabling) is the only effective safety net against the total loss of instruments during a crossing or offshore race.

Having a spare part in stock is useless without understanding its role in the overall onboard architecture: a faulty bus termination or a poorly shielded backbone cable can paralyze your entire data flow. We always recommend creating a customized backup kit, tailored to your energy budget and the complexity of your IT network. If you have any doubt about a component's compatibility with your existing system, our technical team will validate your part numbers to prevent any critical installation errors at sea.
