Detailed description
The Lowrance HOOK2-4x fishfinder in All-Seasons Pack edition is a portable and versatile solution designed for mobile anglers. Unlike fixed installations, this pack allows year-round use, whether on a small boat, kayak, or for ice fishing. Although it belongs to the older HOOK2 generation (now replaced by the newer Hook Reveal series), it remains a highly effective tool thanks to its simplified interface and automatic fishfinder tuning mode.
Detection performance and frequencies
This model uses 455 kHz and 800 kHz frequencies, providing detailed imaging of underwater structures. The system includes advanced display features such as highlighting shallow areas (0 to 3 meters) and specific depth zones (6 to 12 meters). The transducer offset adjustment allows precise calibration (from -9.9° to +9.9°) to perfectly match the waterline or the lowest point of your vessel.
Navigation and data logging
In addition to its detection capabilities, the HOOK2-4x integrates a GPS plotter for managing waypoints, routes, and tracks. It features a Micro SD card reader for logging sonar data (in .sl2 format) to create or review detailed history. The StructureMap feature is also available, allowing sonar imagery to overlay on mapping. The interface includes visual alarms ranked by severity (from green to critical red) and customizable split screens for simultaneous monitoring of navigation and detection data.
