Designed for abandon-ship situations, the ACR RapidDitch survival bag (Model 2278) provides a solution to organize and secure your essential safety equipment. It allows quick access and protection of vital devices in case of an emergency at sea.

Design and Buoyancy

The RapidDitch Bag (Model 2278) measures 737 x 254 x 368 mm and weighs 1 kg. Its design ensures buoyancy for up to 11 kg of equipment in fresh water, with an internal volume of 68.9 litres. It is made of 600-denier polyester on the exterior and 210-denier polyester on the interior, featuring corrosion-resistant zippers for durability in marine environments.

Organization and Visibility

This bag has multiple pockets, straps, and buckles for structured organization. It includes an external dedicated pocket for an EPIRB distress beacon, mesh compartments, attachment points for strobe lights, interior side pockets, garland organizers, and suspension rings. Its high-visibility yellow color, often referred to as "ACRtreuse," combined with reflective materials, facilitates detection by search and rescue teams.

Integrated Safety Features

The shoulder strap system of the ACR RapidDitch Bag converts into two 1.2-metre safety harnesses, allowing survivors to be connected to each other and to the bag once in the water. This feature enhances cohesion and safety in emergency situations. Its "grab-and-go" design ensures quick and easy handling.
