The ACR RCL100 marine floodlight is designed for precision lighting on vessels, featuring a 9-LED array delivering over 220 000 peak candelas at 30W. Operating on 12V or 24V electrical systems, it offers up to 50% power consumption reduction on 12V installations while providing a 40 000-hour LED lifespan.
Construction and protection
The RCL100 housing is made from marine-grade die-cast aluminum with a triple primer coat and sealed construction for UV and weather resistance. The elevation mechanism is internal and element-protected, ensuring precise beam height control. The controller includes advanced surge protection electronics.
Control and lighting features
This floodlight offers continuous 360° rotation with two speed settings (31° per second fast, 20° per second slow) and elevation (2.8° per second), allowing precise beam adjustment. Elevation range is 9° up and 17° down. The beam angle is 7° vertical x 7° horizontal with an effective range of 1 372 meters (4 501 feet). The system can be remotely controlled, typically via a wired Point Pad controller, and supports up to three remote units. An exclusive XRCiZ™ function automatically activates 360° rotation and full elevation movements every 30 days to prevent corrosion and maintain electrical contact integrity. The floodlight measures 20.3 x 22.9 x 20.3 cm (H x W x D), has a 12.1 cm (4.75 in) base diameter, and weighs 3.2 kg (7.2 lbs). The supplied wiring is 4.57 meters (15 feet) long.
