This 1-meter adapter cable facilitates the integration of Airmar transducers with specific Furuno displays. It features a Furuno 12-pin connector (12F) for the display unit and an Airmar Mix and Match (MMC) connector for the transducer.

Compatibility and Features

This cable is compatible with Airmar CHIRP transducers in the Mix and Match series, supporting up to 1 kW (1,000 watts) power. It is also suitable for dual-element CHIRP transducers. The AIRMAR MMC-12F-FU is specifically designed for Furuno 12-pin displays, including models TZT12F, TZT16F, and TZT19F. It is not intended for low-frequency CHIRP transducers.

Mix and Match System

Airmar’s Mix and Match system provides modularity for transducer installations. If changing marine electronics brands, only the adapter cable like the MMC-12F-FU needs replacement, allowing the existing transducer and its main cable to be retained. This cable supports CHIRP technology, contributing to improved target resolution and optimized depth penetration for sonar performance.
