Designed for advanced navigation systems, the AIRMAR PR904 Side-Scan CHIRP transducer pair delivers detailed underwater imaging capabilities. Specifically engineered for Furuno NavNet TZtouch3 and NavNet TZtouchXL multifunction displays, this dual-transducer solution enhances underwater environment awareness for various marine applications.

High-resolution Side-Scan imaging capabilities

The AIRMAR PR904 operates on a high-frequency CHIRP band from 220 to 240 kHz, with 150 W output per transducer. This configuration ensures clear and symmetrical imaging, essential for structure identification, seabed mapping, and precision navigation. Each transducer features a stainless-steel housing for increased resistance to marine corrosion and includes water temperature sensors.

Performance and system integration

The two through-hull transducers of the PR904 enable simultaneous port and starboard side imaging. This pair can detect targets at distances ranging from 180 to 228 meters (600 to 750 feet) on each side, facilitating quick location of structures and fish. Shallow-water performance is excellent. Each transducer is supplied with a 12-meter cable and a 12-pin Furuno connector, ensuring direct integration and automatic configuration with compatible MFDs. Waypoint creation is possible directly from the Side-Scan screen by selecting an object of interest, and the system can detect fish marks in the water column.
