This accessory compensates for the boat’s deadrise angle, ensuring the transducer’s beam is directed vertically toward the bottom for accurate readings.

By adapting specifically to the hull, the Airmar AI-33-523-01 streamlined fairing block reduces turbulence around the B258 DT transducer. This setup ensures optimal signal reception and transmission, even at speeds up to 30 knots (55 km/h). The block can be adjusted for deadrise angles up to 26°, or 28° with the fairing block.
