Single wall: implications

Non-adhesive tubing grips mechanically without sealing. Suitable for sheathing, identification, and insulation repair. For a junction requiring watertightness — crimped terminal exposed, wet bulkhead penetration — use adhesive tubing: adhesive version available in the same diameter.

Selecting the correct diameter

The Ø 12 mm must fit over the largest point to be covered, and the Ø 4 mm after shrinking must be smaller than the support for a tight grip. Between these two values, the 3:1 ratio provides a comfortable adjustment range.
